The WVU Kicking Camp offers senior high/junior high school athletes the opportunity to learn from several top quality kicking, punting, and long snapping coaches. This camp provides a unique opportunity for prospects to possibly earn a ranking in the Fab 50 & showcase their abilities in the official WVU Mountaineer facilities.

Coaching Staff

Coach Kornblue, of Kornblue Kicking, helps organize this camp. His staff consists of current and former NFL, AFL, and Division 1 kickers, punters, and long snappers.

Kyle Brindza, current NFL free agent (Lions/Bucs)
Jack Griffin, Sports Illustrated All American kicker (FIU)
Jeremy Cain, 8 year NFL veteran long snapper
Garrison Sanborn, current Buffalo Bills long snapper
Jeremy Miller, 1999-’02 starting long snapper (Michigan)
Myles Hodish, 2003-2005 starting long snapper (FSU)

Schedule

9:00-9:30 a.m. – Camp Registration
9:30 a.m. – Introduction (Team Meeting Room)
10:15 a.m. – Warmup (on field)
10:30 p.m. – Long Snapping Instruction/Drills
10:30 p.m. – FG & Punt Instruction/Drills
11:15 p.m. – Kickoff Instruction/Charting
12:00 p.m. – Video Analysis (Lunch provided for athletes/coaches)
1:30 p.m. – Punt Drills/Charting with Long Snappers
2:30 p.m. – FG Competition
3:30 p.m. – Camp Dismissal

Facilities

The camp uses the Milan Puskar Stadium & practice facility, which is home to the WVU Football team, for all football activities. Lunch will be provided.

What to Bring

* Tennis shoes / Grass cleats / shorts / T-shirt
* Kicking tees & 2 footballs (with your name labeled on them)
* Extra t-shirt and towel (in case of rain)
* Water with ice / sports drink

Meals

The camp will provide lunch for all campers and staff.
